Guzman Gil-Ramírez was born in Castellon (Spain). He obtained his PhD (2009) under the supervision of Prof Pablo Ballester at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) in Tarragona (Spain). After that he moved to the U.K. to work with Prof Harry L. Anderson FRS and Prof Andrew G. Briggs at the University of Oxford and then with Prof David A. Leigh FRS at the University of Manchester. He started his independent career at the University of Lincoln in 2016. His research focus is the design, synthesis, study and characterization of functional molecular aggregates.
James Disley is developing gas sensors for organophosphorous pesticides in collaboration with Dr Gonzalez-Rodriguez during his PhD.
Mohammad Baqer is developing dual optical and electrochemical sensors to detect drugs in collaboration with Dubai Police and Dr Gonzalez-Rodriguez during his PhD.
Jessica York is our latest member that will be working on the development of Ln luminescent chiral materials.
